Severnvale Academy is a British Council accredited English language school in Shrewsbury, providing General English, Business English and Examination English courses for both professional adults (year-round) and young learner students (seasonal).

Severnvale Academy is recruiting for an exciting position, **starting in February 2025**. We are looking for someone that is adaptable and enjoys working across the different functions of an organisation. The role involves:
**Student Admissions**
- Agent/Student Liaison: Initiating and cultivating new student leads. Act as the primary point of contact for agent and new business lead management. Communicating and building rapport with agents and students to generate new bookings
- Managing and administrating the student experience from initial contact to final departure
- Student interaction: building rapport with all students
- Providing the course induction to all new starters
- Close liaison with Directors regarding student visa regulations
- Management of general enquiries.

**Marketing**
- Ensuring that marketing materials and website are up to date and fit for purpose
- Coordinating and creating copy for social media and direct marketing campaigns (Instagram, Facebook, MailChimp etc)
- Analysis, optimisation and development of the Academy website using Google Analytics data
- Updating of marketing materials through our strategic marketing partners
- Sending out, collecting and collating student feedback reports via online e-portal.

**Social**
- Weekly coordination of and attendance at student social events.

As a Junior Course Coordinator you will oversee the successful delivery of the summer young learner course and other seasonal courses as applicable. Principal elements include:
**Cultural Excursion Planning and Preparation**
- Excursion schedule and bookings
- Market analysis and new course development
- Development of residential activity schedule
- Updating excursion risk assessments and review in liaison with Directors

**Seasonal Team Recruitment**
- Supporting the recruitment process for seasonal delivery in peak periods.

**Junior Course Delivery (up to 10 weeks p.a.)**
- Key person for all non-academic junior course delivery, including excursion/activity management and residential programme management.
- On-call and weekend duties during the seasonal course programmes ensuring smooth operations at all times.
- Airport transfer coordination in liaison with shuttle drivers and group leaders/monitors.
- Morning and evening feeder bus route management for homestay students.
- Excursion coach bookings/management.

Pay: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
