The Role

We are looking for an experienced General assistant for our stunning site in Birmingham We are seeking a confident individual with a can do attitude and a flexible approach to their work, along with desire to further their skills and career.

Working 24 hours per week, on a rota basis responsibilities will be to Chef Manager

  • Perform daily kitchen cleaning duties, including washing up
  • Breakfast preparation and cooking and supporting lunch and supper service
  • Report directly to the head chef
  • Assist with food service, where required

As our General assistant You Will...

  • Have experience of working in a similar environment
  • Have good communication skills
  • Demonstrate effective team work skills
  • Be willing to assist with some light food preparation
  • Be comfortable engaging with the elderly and individuals with additional needs, and their relatives
  • Have a natural passion for providing excellent customer service
  • Have completed Health & Safety and Food Safety Training
