Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by carrying out various tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations. This position requires a proactive individual who is able to work well in a team environment and follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general duties as assigned, including but not limited to assembly, packaging, and quality control.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and products as required.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in production processes.
  • Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety practices in an industrial setting is preferred.
