Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in management, and a passion for animal care. This role is crucial in ensuring the practice runs smoothly, providing excellent service to our clients while maintaining a positive work environment for our staff.

Duties

  • Supervise and manage all aspects of the practice, including staff performance and development.
  • Oversee financial management, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Implement human resources policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate scheduling for staff and manage workflow to optimise efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve practice performance and growth.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages professional development and teamwork.

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience in a managerial role, preferably within a veterinary or healthcare setting.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Experience in financial management, including budgeting and accounting practices.
  • Knowledge of human resources processes, including recruitment, training, and employee relations.

Pay: £25,795.83-£61,669.84 per year
