We're now looking for a Class 1 HGV driver to play a key role ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

  • Drive safely and compliantly at all times.
  • Be legally compliant to the working time directive and EU Driving hours legislation.
  • Maintain regular contact with the transport team.
  • Comply with local legislation requirements and company policies and procedures at all times.
  • To represent DHL in a professional manner to customers and provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Regular completion of vehicle checks.
  • Manual Handling of Customer Products.
  • Timely and efficient completion of deliveries and transportation.
  • To undergo regular training and driving assessments.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

  • Valid HGV License C+E (Class 1)
  • Driver CPC certification
  • Ability to move product in line with H&S regulation
  • Previous experience of driving an artic truck
  • Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
  • Ability to read, understand and follow directions / instructions
  • Knowledge of EU driving regulations and geographical area
