Key Responsibilities

Event Execution & Coordination

  • Prepare and present an array of refined desserts, pastries, and baked goods for à la carte dining, afternoon tea, and banqueting functions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef & Senior Sous Chef on menu development, seasonal features, and custom event offerings.
  • Assume responsibility for assigned pastry sections during service, ensuring optimal consistency, quality, and presentation.
  • Generate innovative concepts for new dishes and adapt to seasonal changes, emphasising creativity and sophistication.
  • Support the planning and execution of banqueting desserts for private events, weddings, and corporate functions.
  • Uphold rigorous hygiene and food safety standards, adhering to HACCP protocols and club policies.
  • Assist with stock management, ordering, and waste minimisation initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie within a luxury hotel, fine dining establishment, or private members club.
  • Comprehensive understanding of classic and modern pastry techniques.

Skills

  • Strong creative ability and attention to detail.
  • Proven capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Genuine passion for providing outstanding guest experiences.
