Project Management Coordinator
This role will offer an exciting opportunity to play a key role on the successful delivery of multiple creative projects that advance social change and innovation.
We're looking for a highly organised, proactive, and adaptable
Project Coordinator
to play a central role in the delivery of our creative and community-based programmes. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys working collaboratively, and takes pride in leading projects that make a genuine social impact.
As Project Coordinator, you'll oversee multiple projects from planning through to delivery and evaluation — ensuring that each one meets its objectives, stays on budget, and reflects our values of
Compassion, Creativity, Curiosity, Collaboration and Change
. You'll manage schedules, budgets, and people, build strong relationships with partners and funders, and contribute to our mission of empowering young people and strengthening communities across the South West.
No two days are the same: one might involve scheduling programmes or coordinating freelancers, another might focus on partnership meetings or creative event delivery. You'll bring structure and energy to each stage of the process — balancing creative vision with practical delivery.
About You
You're an experienced and confident project coordinator with a passion for creativity and community impact. You can manage complex timelines, people, and budgets, while keeping communication clear and projects moving forward.
You'll be a natural relationship-builder — someone who can collaborate effectively with "big characters", adapt under pressure, and bring warmth, clarity, and focus to your work. Above all, you're motivated by purpose: using your organisational and creative strengths to deliver meaningful, high-quality projects for children, young people, and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple creative and community projects through their full life cycle — from planning to evaluation.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Lead scheduling, logistics, and staff coordination (including freelancers).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, community partners, funders, and creative collaborators.
- Problem-solve and adapt plans quickly when challenges arise.
- Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and contribute to continuous improvement.
