We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our brand-new Little Lanterns provision for two-year-olds, part of our school nursery. This exciting new provision launches in January 2026, and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping the environment and experiences for our youngest learners from the very beginning.
Working under the guidance of the Room Leader, you will support the delivery of high-quality care and learning, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing setting. Your role will include assisting with engaging activities, supporting children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and building positive relationships with families.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about early years education and child development
- Demonstrates excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Is committed to providing a caring and inclusive environment
- Brings energy, creativity, and a positive attitude to the role
Essential requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in childcare (Level 3 desirable)
- Experience working with young children
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally
