About the Role

The Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council are looking to recruit a Cleaning Supervisor who is required to carry out cleaning duties at County Hall, Fishergate, Preston, PR1 8XJ.

The contracted times are 16:00 – 19:00

The Facilities Management team is responsible for some for some of the most prestigious and iconic buildings in Lancashire. These buildings provide essential services to the community and vulnerable people.

High standards of cleanliness

expected

and prior experience is desirable. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Duties will consist of general cleaning, such as damp wiping, damp mopping, vacuuming, and toilet cleaning. This role requires you to lead a small team, ensuring all work areas are clean across the site. The role involves some straightforward administrative tasks such as reporting holidays and sickness, as being the first point of contact between both the client and area coordinator.
