ServiceNow Developer

Bristol, Bristol, United Kingdom Capgemini Full time £40,000 - £70,000 per year
About the job you're considering

We're looking for a ServiceNow Developer who's excited to grow their career and make a meaningful impact by enhancing customer platforms and experiences. This role blends project work with foundational activities, and you'll collaborate closely with our internal technology teams and Automation Development team.

We take a modern, collaborative approach—working together across teams and with clients to achieve high levels of satisfaction. If you're passionate about improving business processes and user experiences through ServiceNow, we'd love to hear from you.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including:
identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)

Your role

As a valued member of our ServiceNow team, you'll have opportunities to develop your skills and contribute to our collective success. You'll be empowered to:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules, especially around Virtual Agent and RPA flows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Implement and configure ServiceNow Virtual Agent to enhance customer experience.
  • Integrate RPA tools with ServiceNow to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Monitor and optimize platform performance to ensure reliability and responsiveness.

You can bring your whole self to work. At Capgemini building an inclusive future is part of everyday life and will be part of your working reality. We have built a representative and welcoming environment, for everyone.

Your skills and experience

We're looking for people who bring a mix of technical expertise and a collaborative mindset. If you don't meet every requirement but feel excited about the role, we encourage you to apply.

  • Understanding of IT service management (ITSM) and IT operations management (ITOM) processes.
  • Experience developing and customizing ServiceNow, including workflows and integrations.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Virtual Agent and/or RPA tools.
  • Programming skills in JavaScript.
  • A problem-solving and analytical approach, with a willingness to learn and grow.
We are a Disability Confident Employer

Capgemini is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer (Level 2) under the UK Government's Disability Confident scheme.
As part of our commitment to inclusive recruitment, we will offer an interview to all candidates who:

  • Declare they have a disability, and
  • Meet the minimum essential criteria for the role.

Please opt in during the application process.

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
