Job Description

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Knowledge Management / Information Management Analyst with strong SharePoint and web design expertise to support the Joint Staff J-7, Joint Wargaming and Experimentation Division (JWED). In this role, you'll help design, implement, and manage a Knowledge Management program that enables collaboration, training, and operational readiness across a high-visibility military organization.
You'll serve as a SharePoint Collection Administrator and content manager, applying KM principles to military training tasks, optimizing IT architecture, and ensuring seamless access to critical information for government and military customers.

Essential Job Responsibilities

•    Administer and maintain SharePoint site collections (classified & unclassified) across DOD365 SPO, Intelink, SIPR/NIPR.

•    Develop and implement KM/IM strategies, policies, and standards.

•    Organize and classify digital repositories using taxonomies and metadata.

•    Design and maintain intranet sites, portals, and collaboration platforms.

•    Apply UX/UI principles to improve navigation, accessibility, and user engagement.

•    Provide non-technical support and training to staff on KM best practices.

•    Optimize "out-of-the-box" capabilities of SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365 tools.

•    Travel up to 15% in support of JWED priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

•    5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years' experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.

•    Proven ability to manage multiple classified/unclassified SharePoint collections.

•    Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

•    Experience developing SharePoint pages, libraries, lists, and calendars for operational COP.

•    Must have and be able to maintain an active DoD TS/SCI clearance 

Preferred Requirements

•    Familiarity with military wargaming and experimentation.

•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•    High attention to detail and accuracy.

Physical Requirements May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
