As our Sous Chef you will…

· Work alongside and support the Head Chef in upholding department standards and meeting of department expectations

· Ensure the Team prepare dishes according to the Head Chef's specifications and standards

· Lead, Train and develop our Kitchen Team

· Be responsible for Food Safety and Hygiene within your department, maintaining compliance

· Be involved in the planning and development of exciting menus including costings

· Be responsible for stock control

· Oversee meal presentation and guest experience including conferences and events

To ensure you will be successful in your role you will need to possess,

· Minimum two years' experience in a similar role in the hotel Industry including providing food for large events

· Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills - A strong Leader

· Self-motivated and good organisational and planning skill

· Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

· Knowledge of food preparation methods and presentation
