Wideopen, Northumberland, United Kingdom European Broadcasting Union (EBU) Full time £60,000 - £120,000 per year

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) is looking for a Commercial Partnership Manager.
About The Ebu Media Department – Eurovision Song Contest (esc)
The Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) is the world's largest live music event, uniting 37 broadcasters and captivating a global audience of over 166 million viewers. In 2025, Basel proudly hosted this iconic celebration of creativity and diversity, welcoming more than 500,000 visitors and reaching billions through broadcast, digital, and social media channels.

The ESC continues to deliver unmatched reach and impact across television, streaming, and experiential platforms. With record-breaking engagement among younger audiences, the Contest remains one of the most powerful cultural brands globally.

Within this dynamic environment, the Commercial Partnership Manager will play a pivotal role in connecting brands to the vibrant Eurovision universe—creating partnerships that are as bold, joyful, and inclusive as the Contest itself.

The role has a strong commercial focus, driving revenue-generating partnerships and ensuring that every brand integration adds measurable value to both the Eurovision Song Contest and its partners.

Principal Responsibilities Of This Position

  • Drive engagement with global and local brands by developing meaningful and creative partnership opportunities.
  • Lead the end-to-end process of brand integration—conceptualization, pitching, execution, and post-event evaluation.
  • Collaborate closely with internal ESC teams, EBU strategic partners, broadcasters, and agencies to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Design innovative cross-platform integration strategies across broadcast, digital, experiential, and virtual touchpoints.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and maintain Eurovision's position as a leader in global brand engagement.
  • Deliver impactful sponsorship activations that reflect the Contest's commitment to creativity, unity, and excellence.

Your Skills And Experiences

  • Proven track record in brand partnerships, sponsorships, marketing, or advertising-experience within agencies or large-scale events is a plus.
  • Demonstrated creativity and strategic thinking, able to transform brand objectives into memorable activations.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Energetic, confident, and commercially astute with a passion for entertainment, music, and storytelling.
  • A relationship-builder who thrives in multicultural, fast-paced environments and can work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability in delivering high-quality outcomes.

LANGUAGE

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Additional languages are an asset.

EDUCATION
A relevant professional or tertiary qualification in marketing, communication, business, or a related field.

ADDED VALUE
Additional experience in the following areas would be a strong advantage:

  • Licensing and brand integration within live or entertainment formats.
  • Working in international, multicultural environments.
  • Familiarity with the European media and agency landscape.

ONCE ON BOARD YOU WILL
Be part of an outstanding diverse and inclusive multicultural and international team.

Work with accomplished and engaging professionals coming from a wide variety of backgrounds and covering an impressive range of professions both in and outside of the broadcasting realm.
