Role Overview: As a Care Assistant / Support Worker, you will be an integral part of our dedicated team, providing high-quality care and support to our services. No guarantee of hours at the moment - we are looking to build our team and get more care shifts in, and we are looking for staff who have flexibility to work 1 or 2 shifts a week, when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support individuals with mobility and transferring using safe moving and handling techniques.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their well-being and independence.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
  • Document and report any changes in residents' condition or behaviour to the relevant staff members.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months of paid care home experience in the UK.
  • Proficient in personal care tasks and moving and handling techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to care.
