Sales and Marketing Assistant to Partnerships Director - 80% Office Based
Role Purpose
To provide detailed and high quality administrative, organisational, and marketing support to our Partnerships Director, ensuring efficient management of sales activities, meetings, and follow-up actions. This role is critical in enabling Andrew to focus on strategic priorities while maintaining smooth operational workflows and driving business growth through proactive marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Diary & Meeting Management
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, including client and internal sales reviews.
- Attend meetings alongside Andrew, take accurate notes, and ensure timely distribution of minutes.
- Track and follow up on meeting actions to completion.
Sales Administration & Support
- Prepare and maintain sales reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Assist with CRM updates and ensure data accuracy for pipeline tracking.
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to support sales processes.
- Handle inbound sales enquiries:
- Respond promptly to incoming calls, emails, and web enquiries.
- Qualify prospects based on agreed criteria and pass qualified leads to Andrew.
Marketing & Social Media Management
- Manage social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), including posting updates, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments/messages.
- Assist in creating engaging content aligned with company branding and marketing strategy.
- Support all marketing activity:
- Help design and produce marketing collateral (brochures, presentations, digital assets).
- Research external trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
- Implement new marketing initiatives and tools to enhance brand visibility.
- Coordinate campaigns and track performance metrics.
- Engage in external learning and development to stay current with best practices in marketing and social media.
Communication & Correspondence
- Act as the first point of contact for Andrew, managing emails and prioritising responses.
- Draft and proofread correspondence, proposals, and client communications.
Operational Support
- Organise travel arrangements and logistics for meetings and events.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure documentation is up to date.
- Support project coordination and assist with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Hours
- 25-40 hours per week with flexibility to support client meetings outside of core hours
- 4 days a week in the office Monday – Thursday (Pury Hill Business Park, Alderton near Towcester)
- Friday Work from Home
Skills and Experience
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools (e.g., Canva, HubSpot, Mailchimp).
- Comfortable with/Understanding of ChatGPT or CoPilot
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.

- Inbound Sales Enquiries: Respond within 24 hours; maintain a qualification accuracy rate of 90%.
- Meeting Actions: 100% of agreed actions tracked and followed up within deadlines.
- Social Media Engagement: Minimum monthly growth in followers and engagement (e.g., 5% increase).
- Marketing Collateral: Deliver agreed assets on time and to brand standards.
- CRM Accuracy: Maintain 100% accuracy for data entered and updated.
- Content Posting: Minimum of X posts per week across agreed platforms.
