Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality care and education to children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children. This role requires excellent communication skills, effective leadership abilities, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing environment for young learners.

Duties

  • Deliver engaging educational activities that promote children's development and learning.
  • Supervise and support children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating and inclusive environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's achievements and any concerns.
  • Assist in the management of daily operations
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies at all times.

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development.
  • Ability to drive is advantageous
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development within the field of early childhood education.

Hours

  • Term time - Split shifts: 7am-9am then return for 2:45pm-6pm, Monday-Friday
  • Holiday Club - Hours will vary between 7:30am-6pm. Full days, half days (7:30am-1:30am or 1pm-6pm), variety of hours in between

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £11.00-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
