Job Description

As the CTO you will be responsible for overseeing the technological aspects of the business, driving innovation, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of their technology infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in ecommerce, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a technology strategy aligned with the company's business goals.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of the ecommerce platform and related technologies.
  • Lead a team of technology professionals, including software engineers, developers, and IT specialists.
  • Identify emerging technologies and trends that can enhance the ecommerce experience and drive growth.
  • Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of the company's technology infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology solutions and support business operations.
  • Manage the technology budget and allocate resources effectively to support business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably in ecommerce or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, technologies, and trends.
  • Proven track record of leading technology teams and driving innovation.
  • Deep technical expertise in software development, cloud computing, and infrastructure management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
