We're on the lookout for a
Technical Services Manager
to join our Riverside Bakery site, part of The Compleat Food Group. In this role, you'll be the guardian of our technical compliance systems – making sure we not only meet but exceed customer, legal, and industry standards.

You'll work closely with our customers, suppliers, and colleagues, managing quality systems, ensuring audits are closed out on time, keeping customer portals up to date, and making sure our Quality Management System (QMS) is always in top shape.

From managing internal audits and compliance risk assessments, to traceability exercises, supplier approvals and document control – you'll be at the heart of keeping our products safe, consistent, and trusted.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing and maintaining our QMS in line with BRC, customer codes of practice, and legal requirements
  • Leading internal audit schedules and closing out non-conformances
  • Overseeing technical compliance tools, databases, and customer portals
  • Managing supplier and raw material compliance at site level
  • Leading traceability and mock recall exercises
  • Coaching and developing the QA team
  • Deputising for the Head of Technical when needed

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a similar technical/compliance role within chilled FMCG food manufacturing
  • Strong working knowledge of BRC Global Standards and customer codes of practice
  • Skilled in managing audits, QMS, and technical documentation
  • Level 4 Food Hygiene and HACCP certification
  • Lead Assessor qualification (desirable)
  • Food Science/Technology degree or related discipline
