Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring that all patrons receive exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain a clean and organised bar area will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a bartending or restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
