Are you passionate about sports and working with children? Whether you're an emerging coach or an established professional, Youth Sports Development (YSD) wants to hear from you.

We deliver high-quality, high-energy sports sessions across nurseries and primary schools. While we currently run sessions in Sidcup, Catford, Downham and Plumstead, we are excited to be launching new primary school partnerships in Peckham and Greenwich in the new year.

About the Role

As a Sports Coach at YSD, you will:

  • Deliver a variety of sports (Football, Basketball, Tennis, Athletics, Gymnastics, Volleyball, Cricket, Rugby)
  • Teach children across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2
  • Plan and deliver engaging sessions that support EYFS, physical development, and fundamental movement skills
  • Travel between a range of sites across SE London and Kent
  • Manage your own admin and maintain punctuality and professionalism
  • Use Agendrix for scheduling, clocking in/out, and tracking shifts
  • Work autonomously while receiving strong support, guidance, and training from our leadership team

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about children's development
  • Have experience working with Early Years and/or primary-aged children
  • Be confident leading groups independently
  • Bring positive energy, creativity, and strong communication skills
  • Be adaptable in your coaching style and open to personal development
  • Be able to create engaging, age-appropriate session plans

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
  • Previous sports coaching or teaching experience
  • Ability to plan sessions and deliver high-quality learning experiences
  • A passion for motivating and inspiring young children through sport
