Role: Visual Merchandiser

Salary: £30k - £35k per annum (dependent on experience) + car allowance

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri), or will consider part time applicants

Location: Head Office (Birmingham) and travel required to our 23 store locations around the UK.

As we continue to expand, we're looking for a talented Visual Merchandiser to elevate our in-store experience and bring our brand to life through creative, on-brand, and commercially effective visual displays.

The Visual Merchandiser will play a key role in shaping the look and feel of our stores nationwide. You'll be responsible for implementing visually stunning layouts and engaging product displays that enhance the customer experience, drive sales performance, and maintain consistency with our brand identity. This role requires a mix of creative flair, commercial awareness, and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute inspiring visual merchandising strategies and store layouts that align with our brand direction and seasonal campaigns.

· Plan and implement store window and in-store displays to maximise product appeal and drive sales.

· Work closely with the Head of Retail and Marketing team to deliver cohesive visual presentations that reflect promotional themes and product launches.

· Conduct regular store visits nationwide to review, maintain, and improve visual standards.

· Provide visual merchandising guidelines, planograms, and training materials to store teams.

· Ensure consistency of brand presentation across all locations, adapting designs to store layouts and local markets where appropriate.

· Monitor performance and sales data to evaluate the impact of merchandising strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.

· Support new store openings with layout planning, fixture setup, and visual presentation.

· Stay ahead of design and retail trends to continually innovate and enhance our in-store experience.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser (ideally within furniture, homeware, or lifestyle retail).

· Strong creative eye for design, colour, and spatial layout.

· Excellent understanding of retail environments and customer flow.

· Ability to balance aesthetics with commercial objectives.

· Confident in working independently and managing multiple store projects simultaneously.

· Strong communication, organisation, and project management skills.

· Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel frequently nationwide.

· Experience working with CAD, SketchUp, or similar visual planning tools.

· Experience in multi-site retail visual merchandising.
