Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to the overall guest experience in our establishment.

All our tips from customers are shared between staff that worked the shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
  • Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
  • Handle cash and process transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for till operations.
  • Assist in the training of new staff members when required, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring guests feel valued and welcomed at all times.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in bartending or a similar role is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
  • Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards within the bar area.
  • A passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service in a restaurant or bar setting.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues alike.
