Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the M&E design team through all project phases, from concept to completion.
  • Develop and implement design strategies that align with project objectives and sustainability goals.
  • Conduct design reviews, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with standards, and quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and clients to understand requirements and provide innovative design solutions.
  • Monitor project progress and provide mentorship to team members, facilitating professional growth and development.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to improve design processes and practices.
  • Prepare and present design proposals and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the M&E design sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and design practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in design software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant calculation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of current building regulations and industry standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Full UK driver's license.
