  • Partnering with the wider AA finance team and the B2B business to build a solid understanding of operations, enabling you to deliver meaningful and value-adding performance insights
  • Preparing month-end reports with detailed analysis and commentary across financials, KPIs, balance sheet, and cashflow, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the accounts
  • Completing all required balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls
  • Reviewing, challenging, and documenting financial processes to ensure clarity, consistency, and continual improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting governance and standards, including revenue recognition and cost accounting principles
  • Consolidating budget and forecast submissions and maintaining accuracy within the planning and consolidation system
  • Collaborating with finance colleagues to streamline, automate, and enhance reporting processes
  • Supporting cashflow reporting and working with the Treasury team to evolve and strengthen cash reporting
  • Ensuring all month-end and reporting tasks are completed within the agreed timelines
  • Contributing to ad hoc projects and initiatives across the wider Finance team.
  • Assisting with internal and external audits during both interim and year-end periods

This is a hands-on role that offers breadth, challenge, and the opportunity to influence how we work while building strong foundations for a successful career in finance.

  • Experience in an accounting or finance role is beneficial, but not essential
  • A commercially minded approach with a genuine interest in how financial performance drives the business
  • Enthusiasm, ambition, and a proactive attitude towards problem solving
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Strong organisational skills and the confidence to work independently when needed
