Location: Hybrid. 1–2 days per week in our Cardiff office. During the initial induction period, you'll be required to attend 4–5 days a week in person. After this, you'll move into a flexible hybrid pattern.

Start date: September 2026. You will be required to attend an induction period of 5-weeks in Ty Admiral, Cardiff.

About the Programmes

At Admiral, we believe data is at the heart of innovation and decision-making. As a FTSE 100 company, we're offering STEM graduates the chance to join one of our specialist data programmes, designed to give you hands-on experience, expert training, leading into an exciting career.

We offer two structured 25-month programmes:

Data Analytics Programme

  • Three placements of eight months each within our Data Community.
  • Work with diverse datasets, uncover insights, and turn raw data into meaningful solutions that shape strategy across the business.
  • Flexible placements mean you can tailor your journey to your interests and career ambitions.

Data Science Programme

  • Year one: building a strong foundations in data analytics. Working with datasets, uncovering insights and shaping business strategy with solutions.
  • Year two: specialise in data science, applying advanced statistical modelling and machine learning techniques to deliver predictions and actionable insights.

What You'll Gain

By the end of your programme, you'll have developed:

  • Expertise in data analytics / data science.
  • Proficiency with industry-leading tools: Python, R, Google Cloud Platform, SQL, Looker, MicroStrategy, and more.

Who We're Looking For

  • STEM graduates (Maths, Physics, Computing, Engineering, Biology, Psychology, Economics, or similar).
  • Passion for data, problem-solving, and applying knowledge to real-world challenges.

But, we're not just looking for technical ability. We're looking for graduates who can bring data to life You'll need to communicate insights clearly and adapt how you explain your findings depending on the audience, whether thats our technical colleagues, business leaders or customers.

Application Process

  • Submit your CV & written application – specify which programme(s) you're applying for.

  • Online Numerical Test (25 minutes).

  • Application screening – shortlisted applicants will be invited to the next stage.

  • Assessment Centre (mid November, in-person, Ty Admiral, Cardiff) includes a 30–45-minute interview.

  • Final Interview (late November / early December, virtual).
