About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant with expertise in backend development, particularly with Golang, Kafka, NoSQL databases, and microservices architecture. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, low-latency backend services that support our enterprise solutions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and other technical stakeholders, to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions. The Senior Consultant will also be responsible for integrating various technologies such as REST and SOAP APIs, Angular/React/Node frameworks, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to innovative projects within the financial services domain, with a focus on credit card systems and related financial products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Golang backend development
• Strong expertise in building high-performance, low-latency backend services
• Experience working with Kafka and other messaging systems
• Proficiency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Couchbase
• Knowledge of RESTful services (JAX-RS), REST and SOAP APIs, and microservices architecture
• Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, with certifications like CSM or PMI ACP preferred
• Proficiency in version control systems like GIT, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and XLR
• Additional knowledge of Docker, Redis, SonarQube, Kafka, LoadRunner, Jira, Confluence, Kubernetes, and ELK stack is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical and business requirements
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in financial services, particularly credit card domains, is highly desirable
• Willingness to upskill on emerging technologies and contribute to innovative solutions
• Ability to work effectively in diverse, multi-stakeholder environments and global delivery models

• Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Mentor junior team members and lead development efforts on complex projects
