Are you looking for your next challenge? We currently have a varied opportunity available for an experienced Driver/Stores Assistant/Labourer to join our fantastic team in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.

Scope: To deliver and collect items from sub-contract companies, assist with the organisation of the raw material stores in accordance with current working practices, distribution of work into machine shop and general labouring duties.

Principal Duties:

  • Delivery and collection of goods from suppliers/sub-contractors when required.
  • Loading and unloading goods.
  • Booking in Materials
  • Laying out materials to the production plan
  • Distributing material into machine shop
  • Emptying wheelie bins and general house keeping
  • Maintaining spillage kits and hearing protectors
  • Maintain the general tidiness/cleanliness of Factory 1

Other Duties:

  • Moving goods from one factory to another.
  • Assisting the Company with general labourers tasks

Skills and Experience:

  • The ability to deal with all levels of staff.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and unsupervised.
  • Slinging and Lifting / Crane Certificate/Experience desirable.

Qualifications:

  • Clean full driving licence.
  • Forklift Truck licence – Counterbalance up to 5000 kilos
  • Contract – Full Time, Permanent.
  • Hours - 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
  • Early finish on Fridays.
