As a driver your role is vital in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods, materials, and personnel to and from customer & supplier sites. In this role you will provide essential support for our service and installation operations, you will also assist the internal stores teams by taking delivery of and booking in/out goods at branch. You will contribute to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

**Location**: Based at our Brighouse branch, daily driving to customers, suppliers and other branches.

**Job type**: Full time, permanent.

**Work pattern**: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, overtime may be required.

**Your background**:Previous experience in a similar role or an industrial environment is preferred. Please note basic computer skills are essential for this role.

**Essentials & desirables**:

- Full driving license - Essential
- Long wheelbase vehicle driving experience - Essential
- Forklift truck licence - Desirable
- Basic computer skills - Essential

**Key responsibilities**:

- Work safely in-line with company policies and site rules.
- Manage the balance between driving and in-branch activities - Remain flexible to the business needs.
- Plan driving routes that minimise travel time.
- Assist stores teams by booking goods in/out using computer software.
- Prepare parcels and equipment for couriers and hauliers.
- Load/unload delivery vehicles manually or by using a pallet truck or forklift truck.
- Ensure customers and suppliers experience a courteous and professional service.
- Liaise with others in the company to ensure work activities are coordinated effectively.
- Manage department vehicles by arranging service work and completing inspections & checks.
- Ensure work areas are left in a tidy manner and vehicles used are kept roadworthy and clean.

- **We supply**_ air compressors, vacuum pumps, low pressure blowers, nitrogen generators, chillers, HVAC equipment, pneumatic components, pipework and assembly tools.
- **We design and install**_ from the compressor room to the factory floor, we plan energy efficient reliable solutions that are installed by our own team.
- **We manufacture**_ all ductwork is manufactured at our Brighouse branch; the ducting is fabricated to fit perfectly with our customers systems.
- **We maintain**_ our factory trained Service Engineers keep equipment in top condition with preventative maintenance and are on call 24/7 for the unexpected.
