HOLIDAY CLUB, AFTER SCHOOL + BIRTHDAY PARTY LEADERS

The Outdoors Project run Holiday Clubs, After School and Birthday Parties in Bristol for children age 5-11, 100% outdoors all year around. Our mission is to encourage kids to spend quality time outdoors and gain all the benefits from doing so Fresh air, nature, exercise, developing friendships, engaging in "wild time", exploring creativity & imagination, learning new skills and above all having lots of FUN

We are looking for experienced Childcare/Activity Leaders to join our team in September to bring to life the The Outdoors Project ethos. We are looking for fun and engaging people to give children and parents confidence in the fact that every element of their time with us is being delivered with enthusiasm and care.

We need experienced leaders to deliver outdoor fun in the shape of all day Holiday Clubs during all school holidays, as well as After School Clubs throughout Bristol in term time between We are also looking for fun, enthusiastic individuals to run themed birthday parties on Saturdays at Horfield common. The day will involve running up to 3 parties for ages 5-12 years. Each party will run for 1.5 hours and will involve 3 activities according to the chosen theme.

Applicants need not necessarily need to be able to work all of the different clubs.

REQUIREMENTS

· A current DBS check or access to the update service is desirable but for the right candidate, we can apply for one on your behalf.

· Experience delivering activities for large groups of primary school aged children

· Paediatric First Aid Qualification (although that can be acquired for the right candidate)

· Child protection training desirable.

· The ability to work well within a team, communicate, be on time and reliability is essential.

· Must be availiable for paid training day

Hours for Holiday Clubs: 8:30am- 3:30pm

Hours for Birthday Parties: 9am - 4:30pm Saturdays or /11.30-2/

Hours for After Schools: 3:00pm-5:00pm

School Holidays: Feb Half Term, Easter, Whitsun half term, Summer, October half term, Christmas

Recruitment process: Telephone interview and if successful we will invite you to attend training.

Pay: £15.50 per hour. Assistant/training rate is £12.60/hr. Parties paid at £17.50 per hour Uniform and training will be provided
