The Role of Account Manager / Field Merchandiser

The successful Account Manager / Field Merchandiser will be self-motivated and able to apply their excellent relationship building skills and passion for premium interior products to deliver an unrivalled customer experience to retail, merchant partners and Studio's across the region. As Account Manager / Field Merchandiser you will be managing existing relationships with independent retailers, showrooms and stockists promoting high-spec finishing products which are typically seen in premium homes and sometimes in commercial environments. You will work closely with existing customers, providing excellent levels of service; demonstrating and educating them on new innovative products that are brought the market. As Account Manager / Field Merchandiser you will be responsible for setting up display stands, product placement and POS. This role is similar to a field sales role without sales targets where you will support with merchandising. The successful Account Manager / Field Merchandiser can expect excellent training and career prospects.

The Candidate

  • You must have an demonstrable track record in field sales / or field merchandising capacity and ideally have dealt with retailers, merchants, stockists or distribution channels.
  • Candidates from FMCG account management backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • You must be polished and articulate by nature and come with a solid track record.
  • Field Sales Account Manager (s), FMCG sales professionals, Field Merchandisers, Visual Merchandisers or Retail Regional Managers are of interest
