Key Account Despatch Lead

Rollins & Sons are looking for an individual to ensure the smooth running of the despatch desk by managing day-to-day activities related to customer deliveries, order allocation, and communication between departments. The role focuses on accuracy, efficiency, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through effective coordination and organisation.
This is a warehouse-based role, requiring a hands-on approach and close collaboration with warehouse operatives and other operational teams. The successful candidate will thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth workflow and accuracy in all aspects of the despatch process.
Job Overview:
Manage key account despatch operations to ensure customer requirements and deadlines are met
Liaise with customers to arrange delivery slots/ bookings
Investigate key account non-conformance queries
Allocate orders to warehouse operatives
Use our inhouse system (Microsoft Navision) to rectify any picking and packing issues
Manage customer portals to ensure they receive accurate stock and shipping information
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of activities
Monitor and track the status of shipments, addressing any issues or delays
Carry out any additional reasonable requests as required by a member of the management team
Required skills and experience:
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Great attention to detail
Previous admin/ operational experience
Computer literate (must be able to use Word, Excel and Outlook)
Previous experience using Microsoft Navision is preferred, however training will be given
Technologically minded with the ability to adapt to new systems, tools, and digital workflows
Ability to make strategic decisions and work under pressure
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of activities
Able to use own initiative
Good communication skills both verbally and written
