About you/Experience

As a Delivery Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact projects for our public sector clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Lead the delivery of complex digital transformation projects, from planning through to implementation, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for client engagement and ensuring all parties are informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and business analysts to ensure effective communication and seamless project delivery. Provide guidance, remove blockers, and ensure the team is operating at its best.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
  • Agile Delivery: Champion Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and iterative delivery approaches, driving continuous improvement in processes and outputs.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring cost-effective delivery and appropriate resource allocation to meet client needs.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Regularly report on project status, risks, and issues to senior stakeholders, providing clear, concise, and actionable updates. Ensure all project documentation is complete and up-to-date.
  • SC Clearance: Given the nature of our public sector clients, the role requires active SC (Security Check) Clearance. You must be able to handle sensitive government projects and ensure adherence to security protocols.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or in a similar role within the public sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A track record of successfully delivering large-scale digital projects on time and within budget.
  • Active SC Clearance is mandatory for this role.
