Floor Technician (Special Projects)– Stripping, Buffing & WaxingLocation: Hampton, VA Job Type: Part-Time (flexible open availability) Pay: Competitive
Job Summary: We are seeking experienced and reliable Floor Technicians to perform high-quality stripping, buffing, and waxing services across various commercial sites. This position requires attention to detail, knowledge of floor maintenance equipment, and a commitment to excellence in floor care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform floor care services, including stripping, waxing, and buffing
- Safely operate floor machines (burnishers, auto scrubbers, etc.)
- Evaluate floor conditions and select appropriate products and techniques
- Maintain equipment and adhere to safety standards
- Deliver prompt, professional service with a customer-first attitude
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in floor care is required
- Familiarity with VCT, vinyl, and tile surfaces
- Ability to lift equipment and perform physical tasks as needed
- Strong communication and reliability
