About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join a dynamic Stroke Rehabilitation Team in Leicestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled locum to make a real difference in the lives of patients recovering from stroke, working within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients with stroke-related conditions.
  • Work across acute and community settings, including early supported discharge (ESD) services.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, nurses, and consultants to deliver holistic care.
  • Contribute to discharge planning and rehabilitation goal setting.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in line with NHS standards.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience, with at least 6 months in stroke or neuro rehab.
  • Experience in community or ESD settings is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
