Fireplace Warehouse are a fast paced and rapidly growing on-line retailer specialising in heating-stoves, fireplaces, outdoor heating and BBQ's. We are looking for talented individuals who are looking to make or further a career in a dynamic online retail environment with opportunities to gain promotion as we continue our growth.

The products we supply have a high-ticket value and we retail directly to the public and trade accounts. Our customers expect high standards to reflect the investment that they are making, and every member of our team makes a difference.

We currently have a small and dedicated team, and we work at a fast pace to ensure that we provide excellent customer service and support in ensuring that the customers' orders arrive in a timely manner and any issues are addressed and resolved .

Your role would be to ensure that the smooth running of the warehouse on a daily basis. This is a great role for an enthusiastic and energetic individual who have great written and verbal communication skills. The ability to multi-task is essential.

You will work with the dispatch and customer service team helping to manage customer expectations. We have multi sites across the company and we would require the right person to be able to move between sites in the local area as the demands of the business dictated.

Previous Warehouse experience is essential. FLT license is essential.

The Warehouse Operative's role will include receiving deliveries, dispatching goods to our customer requirements, handling customer returns, maintaining records and insuring that all equipment is used in accordance with health and safety guidelines. You will be responsible for ensuring that the warehouse is kept to a high standard of cleanliness and the yard is always kept safe and secure. We would also look for you to repair some of our stoves/fireplaces that can be resold.

Duties include:

  • Goods In, Goods Out.
  • Customer Returns.
  • Dealing with Third Party Hauliers.
  • Maintaining the working environment to a high standard.
  • Close relationship with our dispatch and customer service teams.
  • Delivering in the local area
  • General Clerical Duties

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • A willingness to learn and adjust with the ever-changing demands of a fast-moving business environment
  • FLT License - Counterbalance, Clean Driving License (No more than 3pts)
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work on your own.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
