Internal Job Title: School Business Manager

Strategic Direction and Development

Support the Principal and the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that their responsibilities to the School are effectively undertaken through delegation to the admin team.

Provide strategic leadership and development of the business and resources functions of the school and its estate in line with overall Trust policies and procedures.

Provide operational management of all aspects of business services, including HR, facilities and estates, school administration, catering, IT, governance and regulatory and health and safety.

Lead on designated aspects of finance and admissions and attendance, working in collaboration with school and Trust leads.

Provide strategic information for the Principal and Governors.

Develop links with the wider Trust, community, families and local environment.

You will have:

5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*- C.

Experience of management within a public/ private sector setting.

Experience in financial, HR, business and/or premises operations.

Good knowledge of effective ICT administration systems.

Knowledge of Data Protection legislative requirements and how to effectively manage a professional office in line with these requirements.
