Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fundraiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies to support our mission. This position involves building and maintaining relationships with donors, researching potential funding sources, and managing grant proposals. The Fundraiser will utilize various tools, including databases and CRM software, to track progress and enhance our outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic fundraising plans to meet organizational goals.
  • Conduct research to identify potential donors and funding opportunities.
  • Write compelling grant proposals and manage the submission process.
  • Utilize Raiser's Edge and other databases to maintain donor information and track fundraising activities.
  • Foster relationships with current and prospective donors through effective communication and customer service.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials that highlight fundraising initiatives.
  • Manage public relations efforts to enhance the organization's visibility in the community.
  • Provide regular updates on fundraising progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fundraising or related fields such as marketing or public relations.
  • Strong skills in relationship management and customer service.
  • Proficiency in databases, CRM software, and research methodologies.
  • Excellent written communication skills for grant proposal writing.
  • Ability to think strategically and plan effectively for long-term fundraising success.
  • Familiarity with Raiser's Edge or similar fundraising software is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£24.03 per hour
