Duties

Minimum 1 year of proven experience in hotel revenue management.

  • Strong background in marketing within the hospitality sector.

  • Hands-on experience with MEWS booking system and SiteMinder. (This is a must)

  • Demonstrated ability in rates management and reservations oversight.

  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and historical data to inform revenue strategies
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that optimise room revenue and occupancy levels
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and front office teams to align revenue goals with overall business objectives
  • Monitor daily revenue performance and adjust tactics accordingly
  • Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes related to revenue management
  • Supervise a team of revenue analysts and support staff, providing guidance and leadership
  • Manage reservations systems and distribution channels to ensure optimal availability and rate integrity
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners such as online travel agents (OTAs) and corporate clients
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements

Skills

  • Proven experience in hotel revenue management or a related role within the hospitality sector
  • Strong leadership skills with prior supervising experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in revenue management software and MS Office suite
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication across diverse markets
  • Deep understanding of guest services, hospitality operations, and human resources principles
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Effective communicator with leadership qualities that inspire team performance and collaboration
