This position is open to candidates with a minimum of one year's experience in a Wedding Coordinator role.

Job Description:

Working alongside five others in the weddings team, and hosting over 160 events a year, we're looking for an enthusiastic, passionate team player to join us. You'll play a key role in making sure our wedding couples feel fully supported and needs are exceeded during planning and on the day of their wedding.

This hugely rewarding role has one main purpose - to exceed our couples expectations by providing outstanding levels of client care through attention to detail, supporting and guiding them to facilitate the best day of their lives from viewing to their wedding day.

On the day you will be the couples point of contact, taking care of their every need, as well as making announcements to guests and working with the rest of the team to deliver an outstanding day.

You must enjoy:

  • Working with high energy whilst remaining calm and in control.
  • Be comfortable speaking in public/making announcements.
  • Getting a buzz out of going the extra mile to exceed expectations.

Shifts

We can offer 40 hours per week to include 1-weekend day per week (Weekend day to be flexible).

On wedding days you will be expected to work a 10 hour day, usually between 10am - 8pm but there may be flexibility on this depending on the itinerary for the day. Office days will include meetings and typically be 8 hour days.

Your time will be split approximately 50% running weddings/events, 25% conducting client meetings and 25% office time/internal meetings and viewings.

Training

Prior experience is necessary. We'll show you the ropes and how we do things at The Ferry House, but general prior knowledge for the busy wedding industry is a must.

We are in a remote location with no access to public transport so your own transport/driving license is strongly recommended.
