The Hepatitis C Trust develops projects nationally where peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C to support people who have similar backgrounds.
Working with the London Joint Working Group, we are now expanding this commitment through the introduction of Harm Reduction Peer Support Leads to support the delivery of a peer-led needle exchange in Hackney
Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge? Do you have experience of working within health services and with volunteers? Have you been affected by liver disease or any of the harms associated with substance use?
We are looking for self-motivated individual who can work on their own, engage with stakeholders and have a desire to make a difference by delivering a peer led harm reduction service. The posts will support the delivery of needle and syringe programs across various sites within Hackney.
We welcome creativity and innovation in all our work. We are a patient-led organisation – you will be working in an environment where the patient/service user/client is placed at the centre of all that you do.
