About the role

Are you a dynamic and organised professional with a passion for science, education, and innovation? Imperial College London is seeking a Programme Manager to lead the operational delivery of our prestigious Centre for Doctoral Training in Next Generation Synthesis & Reaction Technology (rEaCt CDT), supporting the next generation of synthetic chemists and engineers.

What you would be doing
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the CDT programme, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Coordinate events including seminars, research meetings, and international summer schools.
  • Oversee budgets, financial reporting, and strategic resource planning.
  • Support students with academic tracking, pastoral care, and alumni engagement.
  • Drive communications and marketing efforts across web, social media, and outreach platforms.
  • Engage with partners in academia and industry to foster collaboration and innovation.

A project management qualification is essential for this role.

Experience in:

  • Project and event management
  • Budget oversight and financial reporting

  • Marketing and promotional content creation.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week).

This role is for a fixed-term contract for 18 months initially, with possibility of extension.
