We're looking for our next Maintenance Operative to deliver a luxury, home-from-home experience for our residents whilst ensuring the upkeep of our premium site & facilities are maintained at the highest standards throughout their shift.
Our Maintenance Operative is a pivotal role as you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the facilities within the building. As well as dealing with maintenance issues you will also be providing "handyman" services for our residents so a friendly, customer focused approach is a must.
We are looking for driven and ambitious individuals with a desire to succeed.
Role Responsibilites:
o An experienced customer service professional, well-versed in delivering premium experiences to residents & guests.
o Our operations run seamlessly with the support of a variety of technology systems and software; our Maintenance team must be technologically astute.
o Excellent communication skills. English will be the primary spoken language; however multi-lingual skills would be warmly welcomed.
o Strong organisational and leadership qualities with an ability to remain calm under pressure.
o Adaptability, creativity & positivity.
o Maintain waste management areas adhering to health & safety regulations, ensuring potential hazards are addressed / cleaned / tidied / reorganised as required.
o Undertaking multi-disciplined maintenance duties, (for example, basic plumbing, joinery, painting and decorating), both planned and reactive, to a high standard.
o Conducting scheduled "handyman" tasks booked by residents
o Where necessary the procurement of external contractors to carry out works within the building.
o A knowledge of Pool Plant would be advantageous
o Liaising and co-ordinating with the site's main Planned Preventative Maintenance contractor and ensuring scheduled works are conducted.
o Ensure the compliance of the property with all health and safety requirements
o To maintain the property whilst at the same time managing all supplies and works to a detailed operational budget.
o To manage the routine testing, servicing and maintenance of all aspects of the property.
o Being responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the various plant rooms within the building.
o Resilience, with an ability to effectively navigate unexpected situations.
o Able to carry out tasks that may involve extended periods of standing and repetitive movements, with reasonable adjustments considered where required.
o Flexibility: Our facilities are open to residents 24 hours a day, 356 days a year including all bank holidays, festive & religious breaks. Where festive and religious celebrations require time off, we will always try to accommodate, however flexibility is imperative to be available as required to ensure continuous service to residents.
