We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our Estates and Facilities team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our venues and properties are maintained to the highest standard,providing a safe,efficient,and welcoming environment for our guests and teams.

Working closely with the Regional Maintenance Managers and the Head of Maintenance,you'll take ownership of day-to-day maintenance tasks,resolve issues quickly,and contribute to continuous improvement across the estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver reactive and planned maintenance,ensuring works are completed safely,efficiently,and to a high standard.
  • Carry out general building fabric repairs,including painting,decorating,basic carpentry,tiling,and minor plumbing.
  • Undertake preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks to minimise downtime and improve asset performance.
  • Support on-site teams and contractors to ensure smooth coordination of maintenance works.
  • Conduct regular inspections and report on job progress,safety issues,and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work,materials used,and any issues identified.
  • Assist with site refurbishments,marketing installations,and special events or "buy-outs."
  • Communicate effectively with operational teams to minimise service disruption.

About You

  • Proven experience in maintenance,facilities,or building engineering (hospitality experience desirable).
  • Confident in general building repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety standards and compliance.
  • Able to work independently,prioritise workload,and solve problems quickly.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A flexible approach to work,including a willingness to travel between sites as required.

Working Hours:This role involves out-of-hours work,including evenings and weekends,as part of a rotating schedule or to meet operational needs.

Working Location: Manchester and Liverpool.
