Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial services and a keen eye for detail. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment, contributing to the upkeep of clean and safe spaces for clients and staff alike.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to high standards
  • Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
  • Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any faults or damages
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
  • Adhere to specific client requests regarding cleaning schedules and procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes
  • Good organisational skills and reliability
  • Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work during designated hours, including early mornings or evenings if required

Must be flexible, reliable and have valid UK drivers licence

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
