Location: Bristol/Hybrid (On-site 2 days per week)

Contract Length: 9 months (Starting November)

Day Rate: £425 - £500

AND Digital are a tech company focused on accelerating digital delivery and dedicated to closing the digital skills gap. We've been helping organisations build better digital products and stronger digital teams since 2014.

We believe our work should always make a remarkable impact for our clients. We do this through our regional offices (or 'Clubs') building strong relationships with our partners, so that they are always prioritised by a team within close proximity.

This unique model has driven success for our clients and ourselves, evidenced by our remarkable organic growth since 2014. Today we number more than 1,300 people with Clubs all over the UK, Europe and the USA with plans for global expansion in the next couple of years.

Role:

The Technical Delivery Manager will provide effective coordination and integration of delivery of complex change and technical components.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead large scale, high impact, projects providing delivery support for the end-to-end delivery of change including governance and service introduction
  • Develops the sequence for integration-related tasks in collaboration with the Product Owner (PO) and aligns these tasks with the Lab backlog.
  • Catalogues and handles dependencies between the Lab and other teams to ensure detailed execution.
  • Collaborates with external collaborators to ensure alignment, enabling the Lab to deliver efficiently and achieve bold goals.
  • Identifies obstacles to delivery and addresses them when feasible, advancing them to product owners or Lab leadership as vital.
  • Serves as a bridge between the supplier (3rd Party) and crucial customers within the business, ensuring detailed coordination.
  • Manages complex and high-risk implementations requiring integration between multiple parties (internal/external) to ensure safe and successful delivery.
  • Owns the integration process and implementation events for shared infrastructure, like upgrading the Mainframe, coordinating parties to ensure successful change.
  • Provides expertise (not content) for governance activities owned by the Product Owner, such as PRIA, for changes across multiple labs.
  • Coordinates across multiple teams to develop medium-term and/or long-term work schedules that help the organisation achieve its priorities and fulfil its business plans.
  • Examines regular incidents using existing regulatory and compliance processes. Solves immediate compliance issues and advises senior colleagues on complex problems.
  • Responds to individual and team objectives and invests in improving personal performance by growing own skills and capabilities, mentoring others when required.

What you'll need:

  • Experience working on financial services products, ideally payment and/or commercial lending
  • Experience within a technology change environment, working with regulatory, business and software engineering teams
  • Ability to co-ordinate highly complex change across multiple teams and own the dependencies for complex, cross-organisation, changes to deliver great customer outcomes.
  • Passionate and inspiring leadership skills
  • Ability to work with teams using an agile delivery method (e.g. scrum / kanban)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to support your own, and the teams, work
  • Strong governance mentality to ensure that complex change is delivered safely

Planning, Tracking, Reporting & Governance:

Draws on appropriate Status Reporting, Product/Platform/Lab Roadmaps and attendance at agile meetings to form a view on progress, status, risks and issues and resolves high priority issues affecting delivery. Takes accountability for delivery forecasting. Identifies opportunities to improve delivery speed and quality, by identifying risks/issues/dependencies that are not easily evident while helping others to acknowledge them.

Technology Leadership:

Uses varied experience to manage complex technical work, ensuring alignment to technology principles. Coordinates technology changes impact across teams/Labs.

Stakeholder Management:

Uses personal impact and stakeholder positioning to build and sustain long-term relationships at all levels (including C-suite Executives). Resolves stakeholder conflict, builds consensus and influences outcomes.
