What You'll Be Doing:
As a
Library Officer
, you will lead a team of staff and volunteers to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of the library.
  • Planning and delivering a wide range of events (e.g. author events, class visits).
  • Supporting customers with digital services (e.g. eBooks, passport applications).
  • Building partnerships with local organisations.
  • Monitoring performance and ensuring service excellence.

You will be appointed to Great Harwood library and will work an average of 22hours per week over a two week rota (see attached rota), but there will be an expectation that you will work at other libraries as required.
