Position Overview:

As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of heavy plant machinery, including ADT's, Excavators, Telehandlers and Dozers. You will travel to various sites within a large region, performing both mechanical and electrical repairs to keep machinery in optimal working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct regular service, maintenance, and repair work on heavy plant machinery, including crushers, cone crushers, screeners, and trommels, across multiple locations.

· Diagnose and repair issues with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.

· Perform diagnostic tests to identify mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring prompt and efficient repairs.

· Travel across a large region to attend breakdowns, perform scheduled maintenance, and ensure plant machinery is operational.

· Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed, ensuring compliance with company procedures.

· Adhere to company health and safety policies at all times, ensuring safe work practices in the field.

Requirements:

· Proven experience working on construction plant, quarrying, or recycling equipment.

· Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical repairs, including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical diagnostics.

· NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Construction Plant Maintenance or Agricultural Plant Maintenance is essential.

· A full UK driving license is required for the mobile nature of the role but regular travel to Tru7 HQ IP5 2PE will be required.
