Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Customer Service and Business Development Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting customers that have purchased equipment from our ecommerce websites with order updates and to maximise upselling opportunities. The role will also include making outgoing customer service calls to our database of over 12000 business customers. The successful candidate will need the ability to identify new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to organisational growth while developing valuable skills in sales and client management. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and experience with CRM software management to effectively manage leads and customer data.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by maximising our client database.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster long-term partnerships.
- Utilise CRM software to track leads, manage sales pipelines, and analyse customer data for targeted outreach.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Update customers with delivery times and upsell where possible.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development and outbound sales.
- Proficiency in CRM software is essential for managing customer relationships effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
