Want to spend your day bringing warmth and joy to others? We are an Aussie style coffee shop with around 30 covers, specialising in delicious all day brunch dishes and speciality coffee and priding ourselves on a welcoming atmosphere and high quality product.

We are seeking a superstar chef to own the kitchen and our ideal candidate will have at least a year of similar experience, a passion for good food and be comfortable serving simple but consistently high quality and beautiful dishes in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and high-quality product delivery
  • Ensure all food preparation, production and storage meets outstanding quality standards and adheres to food safety regulations
  • Work with the owner to develop and update seasonal menus
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
  • Foster a positive team environment through effective communication
  • Handle customer inquiries and requests professionally, ensuring satisfaction with their experience

Skills

  • Proven experience in a similar position, with demonstrated ability to maintain high quality delivery under pressure
  • Knowledge of food production processes, food preparation techniques
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene
  • Great organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, show initiative and uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times

What we offer …

  • £13-£14.50 / hr depending on experience (plus tips)
