Are you a caring, patient-focused Dental Nurse with a passion for working with children? We are a specialist orthodontic practice dedicated to providing outstanding care for young patients in a fun, friendly, and professional environment. We're looking for an enthusiastic Orthodontic Dental Nurse to join our warm and supportive team.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a specialist setting where you can truly make a difference in a child's confidence and dental health journey.

Your duties will include:

  • Assisting the Orthodontist during children's orthodontic treatments
  • Supporting children and their families throughout their visits, helping to reduce dental anxiety
  • Preparing the surgery and instruments in line with strict infection control procedures
  • Taking digital scans and photographs as required
  • Educating young patients on brace care and oral hygiene in an age-appropriate way
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with clinical administration
  • Occasionally helping at reception and with general practice duties

What We're Looking For:

  • GDC-registered Dental Nurse (required)
  • Experience in orthodontics or paediatric dentistry (desirable)
  • NEBDN Certificate in Orthodontic Nursing or experience in Orthodontic nursing
  • A warm, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work calmly and reassuringly with children of all ages
  • Organised, reliable, and committed to high standards of patient care
